Dr. Tim Foster Jones (BDS, MFGDP) originally from West Wales and was educated in Lampeter before embarking on his dental training in Cardiff. He qualified in 1985 and worked in practices in both North and South Wales before settling in Carmarthen to build and develop a successful award winning private practice.
Tim achieved his post graduate diploma in the 90s, became a vocational trainer for newly qualified dentists and was an active member of the local dental committee for many years. He believes it is vital to continue to learn and educate within the profession and attends many courses from international experts in Dentistry.
Tim carries out all aspects of general dentistry with the philosophy of treating the patient as a whole and seeing a healthy mouth as integral to patient’s well-being throughout life.
Away from dentistry Tim has a farmhouse outside Carmarthen, his children attend the local high school and he enjoys the numerous leisure amenities West Wales affords.

Graduating from Cardiff University with a first-class honours degree and several academic awards in 2008.
Whilst undertaking Vocational Training I completed my Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons exams, it was also during this time I developed a keen interest in endodontics (root canal treatment).
For the past four years I have been working two to three days a week within a fully private practice in Swindon and recently Gloucester, and three days a week within a mixed practice in Neath.
I enjoy high quality dentures, extensive crown, veneer and bridge work, cosmetic orthodontics, restoration of implants, root canal treatment and the management of periodontal issues including splinting of periodontally involved teeth. I also have provided botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers for over 5 years and can provide dental acupuncture.
I am a member of the British Endodontic Society, British Society of Periodontics and RCS Edinburgh. I am working towards my British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry accreditation.
Within my personal life I live in the South Wales Valley with my family. I have a small holding with horses and sheep and enjoy DIY and family activities. My major hobby is long distance Triathlons and endurance events.

Christine, who is from Swansea, has worked with Huw Griffiths and Tim Foster Jones for many years as a Hygienist. Christine began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse, qualifying at Kings College Dental Hospital in London in 1985, was awarded her certificate in Oral Health Education in 1990; before qualifying as a Dental Hygienist at Cardiff Dental Hospital in 1992.
Christine has a special interest in working closely with patients who have had dental implants. In her spare time, Christine enjoys watch Swansea City FC, attending music concerts and spending time with her family.

Lynwen came to Capel over 10 years ago and works under Tim Foster Jones carrying out examination and some minor restorative and cosmetic work.
Lynwen qualified as a therapist in 1973 at New Cross College and went on to gain her oral health certificate in 1983 and completed her masters on Health Promotion in 2004.
Lynwen enjoys combining her love of travelling with helping children in developing countries.
